Hole 1

This seemingly friendly opener — downhill and often downwind — is more challenging than it appears. A wayward tee shot is likely to find tree trouble on either side. Length off the tee is often rewarded with a flat lie and a much shorter approach thanks to the down slope. The mid-sized green can be tricky to hold and is protected by two large bunkers right and a collection area left.

MEMBER’S BOUNCE: The approach can play two clubs shorter downwind.
